I chose this because of the love I have for baking. I also chose it because I can find out ways to create and build innovative ideas by finding out new recipes and making my own. This connects to me in a sentimental way because when I was little, I always used to bake with my mom and Grandma and baking has always been a part of my life especially during Christmas time which is my favorite holiday.
CHANGES
I decided to use a brown background because when I used a white background the flour did not really show up in, so we decided to go outside and use a wood background to accentuate the flour around me. I decided the Santa hat had too much attention to it so decided to take it off so people would not only look at the Santa hat.
WAS IT SUCCESFUL
Yes, my portrait was very successful and transmitted a clear message and my classmates all interpreted the same thing when they were asked what the flour meant when I blew it through the wind.
